Why are we excited for tomorrow?

One word: weather forecast. Wait, that’s two. We’re so excited we just can’t take our minds off of skiing!

We think Snowbird’s weather forecast for tomorrow (and tonight) is something to get excited about. Will you be heading up the canyon to take advantage of this new snow? Who knows, maybe you’ll be able to try out some of the tricks you saw at the Winter Games.

Utah’s Newest Chairlift!

Over the past few months while you were out enjoying the summer sun, Snowbird was hard at work on their most anticipated project for the coming year. This winter, a new hi-speed Gad 2 will be in operation. Gad 2, arguably one of the best lifts serving up access to hidden powder stashes on the mountain, is also the only new chairlift in the state this season.

Upgrading from the dated double chair to a high speed, detachable quad, fresh turns are now accessible in half the time of the old lift. This translates to faster laps and more of Utah’s famously deep powder. After such success with the replacement of the Little Cloud chair last season, Gad 2 is poised for a big debut this winter. Compete Snowbird ski packages are as affordable as the Ski Bum special from UtahState.com!
