On June 20, 2020 skier / reservation agents from the ski desk at UtahState.com visited Solitude ski Resort. Our intent was to check out the summer activities and conditions as we prepare for the 2020 / 2021 ski season in Utah. For Utah ski resorts in winter or summer, contact UtahState.com. We are #1 for Utah ski vacations. We live, work, ski Utah.
Located in one of the snowiest canyons in North America and only 30 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City. With a summit elevation of 10,566 feet, Solitude Mountain Resort features over 1,200 acres of skiing and riding, including access to some of the most exciting pristine terrain in the country. It’s interesting to note that Solitude is where most of the skier / reservation agents at UtahState.com learned to ski. It’s a favorite of local skiers and snowboarders. Ski resorts should open a few days before Thanksgiving. A variety of lodging options are available in Solitude’s charming village, along with an array of delectable dining choices both on and off mountain. All Solitude amenities are served with a smile by our friendly staff, available to ensure your visit is memorable. As you can tell from our photos from our visit on June 20th, Solitude is more than just a winter resort. Enjoy summer hiking, mountain biking and disk golf at this special place.
